Why Study with CPEE?
With a record which includes over 2000 specialist units studied and over 14 years experience with distance education, CPEE is the logical choice for furthering your education in the road infrastructure sector. With close ties to industry through Austroads and The Australian Asphalt Pavement Association CPEE is able to provide up to date course material that is relevent to you and your organisation. The skills and knowledge gained can be applied in the workplace immediately.

Along with the provided study material you will receive expert academic support from CPEE's unit chairs who will be available to answer any questions or concerns that you may have through the duration of your study. All of the Unit Chairs are highly qualified and are working/or have worked within the industry. In some instances the unit chair will also be the writer of the study material.

The flexibility to study via distance allows you to work while you learn. This in turn allows you to implement what you learn as soon as you learn it.

What to Expect

CPEE Courses – learning outcomes

Postgraduate courses are characterised by learning outcomes, defined in the Australian Qualifications Framework, which include “the mastery or overview of the relevant field of study or area of professional practice and the emphasis may range from the acquisition or enhancement of specific professional or vocational skills and knowledge, usually undertaken in a combination of coursework and research, through to the acquisition of in-depth understanding in a specific area of knowledge which is usually undertaken through research.

A graduate of a Master's degree program is able to:

· provide appropriate evidence of advanced knowledge about a specialist body of theoretical and applied topics;

· demonstrate a high order of skill in analysis, critical evaluation and/or professional application through the planning and execution of project work or a piece of scholarship or research; and

· demonstrate creativity and flexibility in the application of knowledge and skills to new situations, to solve complex problems and to think rigorously and independently.”

and a Graduate Certificate has “.. learning outcomes (which) reflect a standard appropriate to advanced study and primarily include the acquisition and application of knowledge and skills in a new discipline or professional area, which may also involve extending knowledge and skills already gained in an undergraduate program or relevant prior work.”
