The purpose of this Code of Conduct is to set out the standards expected of all CPEE staff with respect to conduct including responsible and ethical behaviour.
CPEE values freedom of speech and expression in the delivery and study of its academic programs. Within that setting CPEE Staff have an obligation to conduct themselves in a manner compatible with the CPEE’s function as a respected higher educational institution. Conduct includes use of the CPEE Learning Management System (LMS) Moodle. Staff must comply with all relevant CPEE policies and procedures.
Academic Conduct - Honesty in Academic Work.
Staff must undertake their academic work with integrity and honesty, avoiding fraud and plagiarism.
CPEE is committed to fostering an online learning environment free of discrimination, harassment, victimisation or bullying. Any unwelcome conduct or conduct which denigrates based on race, colour, religion, gender, nationality, ethnicity, age, handicap, or sexual orientation will not be tolerated. Complaints related to any of the preceding will be promptly and carefully investigated under the CPEE Policies and Procedures.
Staff must only access CPEE Units and Program for lawful purposes and abide by the Policies and Procedures published by the CPEE and:
- Respect the privacy of staff, members of a class and students and communicate with courtesy and consideration, verbally, in writing, in person and online. Online includes email and social media.
- Only use CPEE property, facilities and resources responsibly, in accordance with relevant policies. Resources include information and communications technology.
