2017 Graduates Honoured

Having just been confirmed by the CPEE Council as Graduates from its Pavement Technology Programs, CPEE was pleased to have a presentation ceremony in Sydney where the testamurs were personally presented to the successful Graduands. At the ceremony, CPEE CEO Ray Farrelly advised on the excellent outcome for both Laura Shaughnessy and James Loney.

The Presentations of the Testamurs to both Laura and James were made by CPEE Council Member and Austroads CEO, Nick Koukoulas.

Laura is employed by Warren Smith & Partners in Sydney and has gained her Graduate Certificate in Pavement Technology, joining the small but growing number of women obtaining the specialist qualification. Congratulations Laura!

James was presented with his Master of Pavement Technology with Ray noting the exceptionally high level of performance across all eight units undertaken during his study with CPEE saying "James achievement of Distinctions and High Distinctions across all of his units places James as one of CPEE's highest achievers in its 20 year history and is commended for his commitment and capability." Well done James.

Ray also recognised the important role the employers of the graduates had played in their ongoing support of their employees throughout this period. James and Laura's enhanced understanding and knowledge has likely already provided invaluable benefits to their respective employers and will continue to do so going forward.
