Bachelor of Engineering Technology
(Professional Honours in Infrastructure Asset Management)

Note: This program will not be accepting new applications from 2020. For alternative programs please refer to here.

This course has been developed in response to the growing demand for higher education in the emerging discipline of Infrastructure Asset Management. CPEE together with The Institute of Public Works Engineering Australasia (IPWEA) and university partner The University of Tasmania (UTAS) have designed a course to provide the necessary skills and knowledge for employment in advanced technical roles involving the managment of infrastructure assets.

This course aims at providing graduands with the knowledge and skills to fill senior positions in this specialist field within local and state government, public works authorities and with engineering consultants.

Based on the internationally acclaimed International Infrastructure Management Manual (IIMM), this course has been developed to broaden the skills and knowledge gained in engineering and science undergraduate courses, or other approved undergraduate courses, and provide specialist skills in all areas relevant to infrastructure asset management.

Like the IIMM Manual, the course caters for managers new to the field as well as those seeking to learn more about advanced assetmanagement practices.
