Approval of new programs, and change to and discontinuation of existing programs are key quality assurance processes that help to ensure effective curriculum planning and design for sustainable programs. This Policy describes the quality assurance processes for: • The planning and development of a new program or suite of new programs, • Approval of a new program or suite of new programs, • Change to existing programs resulting from regular review and monitoring of their performance and sustainability, and • Change to programs resulting from review for specific purposes such as initiating changes in curriculum, responding to external accreditation, registration processes and industry developments.
