Welcoming Strong Leadership at AfPA

Tony Aloisio Appointed CEO, Graham Henderson Expands Executive Role

The Australian Flexible Pavement Association (AfPA) is entering a new era of leadership and strategic vision with the recent appointment of Tony Aloisio as Chief Executive Officer. With more than three decades of experience spanning infrastructure, sustainability, and executive leadership, Tony steps into this role with a clear mandate: to lead AfPA into the future as a unified voice for sustainable, safe, and innovative flexible pavement solutions across Australia.

Tony brings a formidable track record, including his previous role as Director of Ecologiq where he championed the circular economy in infrastructure, and his tenure at Fulton Hogan and Major Road Projects Victoria. His commitment to delivering low-carbon, circular outcomes across the sector aligns strongly with AfPA’s focus on innovation, industry collaboration, and national impact.

Supporting this national vision is Graham Henderson, who now takes on the expanded role of Executive Director for Victoria, NSW, ACT, and Tasmania. With over 35 years of experience across Australia and internationally, Graham’s leadership and technical expertise have shaped some of the country's most significant road infrastructure projects. His depth of knowledge—spanning General Management, business development, contract delivery, and sustainability—ensures a strong connection between AfPA’s strategy and the needs of its members across multiple jurisdictions.

Together, Tony and Graham represent a powerful leadership team, combining national vision with on-the-ground expertise. Their shared focus on collaboration, innovation, and sustainability will no doubt reinforce AfPA’s role as a vital industry leader during a time of rapid transformation in Australia’s infrastructure landscape.

We congratulate Tony and Graham their appointments
